It all began with food poisoning on a suspicious budget airline, too many unnecessary A’s in the in-flight menu, and an unexpected NHS intervention that included a lukewarm blanket and an apologetic biscuit. Brittany Knight — part-time busker, full-time magnet for chaos — wasn’t planning on writing a letter to the King. But as she recovered, sunburned and confused, with an IV drip in one arm and passion in the other, destiny struck.
