Season’s Greetings and a Tough Start to the New Year

I hope everybody had a truly lovely Christmas and New Year.

Ours was meant to be a happy holiday, but it turned into a very challenging time. As we arrived in the USA for our holidays, Joe’s mum was taken into hospital. What followed was honestly a bit of a nightmare. There were constant phone calls back and forth, and at one point the hospital placed her on medication that caused severe hallucinations, which was incredibly distressing for everyone involved.

It’s been a rough and emotional few weeks, trying to support from afar while also dealing with the worry and helplessness that comes with situations like this.

On top of that, the whole Greenland situation caused real concern about whether we’d even be able to get back. The airport experience was surreal — it genuinely felt like a warzone, with heavily armed police everywhere. We were even questioned by ICE while walking down the jetway to board our flight back to England, which was very strange and unsettling. It certainly felt like an unnecessary use of time and resources.

Thankfully, we made it home safely, but it’s taken a bit of time to recover from everything emotionally and mentally.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding, and we’re hoping to return to this project very soon once things have settled properly. Thank you for sticking with us — it truly means a lot.

The Email That Reminded Me Why I Do This

 Suicide prevented

This Saturday morning, I opened my inbox expecting the usual—messages about schedules, collaborations, or music-related updates. But sitting there, quietly among the others, was one email that stopped me in my tracks.

The subject line didn’t give away much, but as I began reading, I felt my breath catch. It was from David Johnson, someone I had never met, telling me that my song Kintsugi Heart had saved his life.

He told me about one of the darkest moments a person can face—when he was standing on the edge, ready to give up entirely. And then, by pure chance, he came across my song while scrolling on TikTok. Somehow, the words and melody reached him in a way nothing else had. They spoke to the brokenness inside him and reminded him that being shattered doesn’t mean you’re beyond repair.

He shared that after listening, he visited my website, clicked the “Mental Health” link, and found the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline number. With shaking hands, he called. That call—and the message in my song—kept him alive.

As I read, I learned more of his story: the heartbreak of being separated from his wife, the fight to bring her back, and the joy of finally being reunited. He told me that if it hadn’t been for that one song in that one moment, he wouldn’t be here to see her again.

I can’t fully describe the emotions that rushed over me—gratitude, humility, disbelief, and an overwhelming sense of purpose. There are days when the work behind the music feels exhausting. The late nights writing, recording, promoting, and pushing forward despite setbacks… it can feel like an uphill climb.

But this email reminded me of something I promised myself when I started: If even one life, one family, is saved through my music, then all of it—the long hours, the hard work, the sacrifices—has been worth it.

David, if you are reading this, thank you for your courage in sharing your story with me. Thank you for reminding me why I pour my heart into every note. You’ve given me the strength to carry on, to keep creating, and to keep fighting for connection through music.

And to anyone else reading this who might be in that dark place right now: you are not alone. You are worth saving. You matter. If you need help, please reach out. In the U.S., you can call or text 988. In the U.K., Samaritans are available at 116 123. There is always hope, even when it feels impossible to see.

Today, I carry David’s story with me as a reminder that music can be more than sound—it can be a lifeline. And that is worth everything.

Brittany’s Extraordinary Views: Goes Greek

Rhodes isn’t just an island — it’s a living postcard.
It’s where ancient myths mingle with modern laughter, where every sea breeze carries a hint of history, and where even the “wrong turns” become the best memories.

For one magical week, Brittany’s lens captured it all — the golden light, the crystal waters, the laughter-filled detours, and the moments that will live on long after the suitcases are unpacked.

History in the Stones – Aegean Echoes 🎶

Rhodes isn’t just about beaches and tavernas — it’s a living museum.

Brittany’s camera takes us deep inside the Palace of the Grand Master, revealing rare sights: the sealed St. Catherine’s Chapel, Mussolini’s throne room, and intricate mosaics rescued from other islands.

Paired with an original soundtrack that echoes the island’s many eras — Byzantine chants, Crusader lutes, Ottoman flutes — the project Aegean Echoes turns stone and shadow into a living story.

Reflections ✨

Six days. Dozens of detours. Hundreds of photos. And memories that feel like they’ve been stitched into the island’s history itself.

From sunrise chases to ancient ruins, from the salt on their skin to the laughter at Billy’s, Brittany’s Extraordinary Views captured not just the sights of Rhodes — but its soul.

And the best part? This was just the beginning.

Day One  Stepping into the Storybook

The moment Brittany stepped through the gates of Rhodes Old Town, she was wrapped in centuries of history. Golden light spilled across medieval walls, cobblestone lanes whispered secrets of the past, and the air was alive with the scent of oregano and fresh bread.

Every turn revealed something new — bright flowers climbing over stone, hidden courtyards, and shopkeepers greeting her with warm smiles. Lunch was a perfectly wrapped gyro eaten on a sunlit fountain’s edge, the perfect fuel for an afternoon of exploring.

As sunset neared, she climbed to a lookout point where rooftops and the Aegean turned molten gold. One click of the shutter and the storybook scene was hers forever.

Day Two – Island Legends & Coastal Dreams

Adventure dialed up — Greek style!

Brittany kicks off Day Two with mythical vibes and major explorer energy. Surrounded by centuries of history and kissed by the soft sea breeze, she takes a quiet moment to feel the magic — and you’ll feel it too. 🌬️📸

Then it’s time for pure coastal bliss. Sandals are swapped for a swimsuit, and she dives into the crystal-clear waters of the bay. Picture this: sunbathing on smooth rocks, snorkeling alongside curious sea life, and that unbeatable combo of salty skin and a sun-kissed glow. ☀️💦

The day winds down in the most perfect way — a seaside dinner under the stars. Grilled octopus on her plate, the gentle lap of waves nearby, laughter floating on the night air, and a sky full of glittering stars above the Aegean.

Day Two was nothing short of epic — and the Greek dream is only getting sweeter. ✨🇬🇷

4:00 AM. The world still sleeps, but Brittany and Joe are already in the car, chasing first light across the island. Their destination? Lindos Acropolis.

As the sun peeks over the horizon, it ignites the ancient stones in gold. The air is cool, the streets are quiet, and for a moment, it feels like they have the whole place to themselves.

From there, the road takes them to Seven Springs — a shady, green escape where crystal water flows over stone and time slows. The afternoon brings them back to their favourite local haunt, Billy’s in Theologos, for dinner and laughter with friends.

They end the day on the balcony, glasses of sangria in hand, watching the sun melt into the Aegean in a blaze of orange and pink.

Day Three – The Great Sunrise Chase

Day Four – From Butterflies to Billy’s 🦋

The plan was simple: see Butterfly Valley. The reality? A full parking lot and zero chance of getting in.

But here’s the thing about travel — sometimes the best moments come from the detours. Turning the car around, they head instead to Kamiros, an ancient city that’s been watching the sea for thousands of years.

They wander through sun-warmed ruins, imagining the lives that once filled its streets. A nearby café offers cold drinks and… a ham sandwich so stale it could have been used for building repairs. Cue laughter, and a fast decision to head back to Billy’s, where the food is fresh and the welcome is always warm.

Day Five – The Climb to Kritinia 🏰

The coastal drive is pure postcard material — glittering blue water on one side, rugged cliffs on the other. Then, out of the corner of their eye, a castle appears. Kritinia.

Tired but determined, Joe decides to climb straight up the rocky slope for the perfect photo. At the top, a group of amused German tourists point out that… there are stairs from the other car park.

Laughing, he takes Brittany’s hand, and together they walk the proper way up to explore the castle’s history-filled walls. By sunset, they’re back at Billy’s for dinner, sunburned, sore, and so very happy.

Welcome to Brittany’s Extraordinary Views

Where history doesn’t whisper it sings.

I never felt the call of history… until I came to England.
Growing up in the U.S., the past felt distant — a textbook subject, quiet and far away. But walking among England’s ancient stones, hearing church bells echo through misty air, standing where kings once stood and legends once fell — something changed.
I felt history alive. I heard it — like music.

That moment sparked the creation of Brittany’s Extraordinary Views — the world’s first musical historian platform. Here, I bring history to life through original music, cinematic storytelling, and rich visual worlds, all woven with emotion, imagination, and the voices of the past.

Whether you're a teacher, a parent, a curious explorer, or a young dreamer who’s never liked history class — this is for you.

Through music and pictures, through rhythm and rhyme, we’ll meet the ghosts of history not with fear, but with wonder. We’ll remember them. We’ll learn from them.
And maybe, we’ll even dance with them.

Because history isn’t just what happened —
It’s who we are.
And when it’s told with heart,
It lights a spark.

Welcome to the journey.
Welcome to the music.
Welcome to Brittany’s Extraordinary Views.
