The Triumphant Return of the Little Ships – Ramsgate, 31st May 2025
As the heroic Little Ships returned from Dunkirk, they were met by hundreds of people lining the harbour—waving flags, cheering, and applauding with full hearts. It was a truly emotional and awe-inspiring sight: these humble vessels, once part of one of the most courageous evacuations in history, gliding back into port under blue skies and proud eyes. The spirit of unity, remembrance, and gratitude filled the air. Young and old stood together in admiration, celebrating the bravery these boats represent and the people who lovingly preserve them.
