A Musical Tribute to the NHS

A Personal Project from the Heart – A Tribute to the NHS
This has been a massive undertaking over the past four days—late nights filled with writing, recording, and editing. We're proud to present the first two songs in our NHS tribute collection, with more to come in the next few days. One of the most powerful pieces, the history of the NHS, took a great deal of research and song crafting. It wasn’t easy to produce, but we knew it was important.

This project is deeply personal. After Joe’s mum nearly died and was saved by the incredible hospital staff, we felt moved to honour the NHS in the best way we could—with music, emotion, and gratitude.

We’ve all worked hard as a team at Brittany’s Extraordinary Views, pouring our hearts into every lyric and note. We hope these first two tracks bring appreciation, awareness, and thanks to a service that is truly one of a kind.

Thank you, NHS. And thank you to everyone listening. From A&E to Ambulance Drivers, Ward Staff to Mental Health Teams – Thank You.

This special collection of songs is dedicated to the incredible people who make up the NHS. From the frontline heroes in A&E, the dedicated ambulance drivers, and the compassionate ward staff, to the tireless mental health professionals—each song is a heartfelt thank-you for all that you do.

Included is a moving track honouring the history of the NHS, reminding us of how truly precious and unique this service is. The NHS is not perfect—but no system is. Having experienced healthcare in the USA, let us tell you: people complain about wait times here, but in America, not only are the waits the same, you also pay £300+ a month for health insurance, and still owe 25% of the costs. An ambulance alone can cost $1,000–$3,000.

And that's just the start—in America, you're stuck on the phone for hours with your insurance company, trying to get answers. Then, when you finally make it to hospital, you’re hit with a mountain of insurance paperwork. We're not talking one or two sheets—we mean half a pack of printer paper just to be seen.

The NHS is a remarkable service. It saves lives without asking if you can afford it. It supports us from birth to old age. Let's treat every nurse, doctor, porter, paramedic, and support worker with the kindness and respect they truly deserve.
